Can't log in post update of app - Apple

The app was working fine until I updated it this morning. When I logged in after update, my details were all blank. I tried chat with human, and was asked to log out and back in, but when I tried to log back in I kept getting an error message - I’d get as far as send email, but when i clicked on the link I’d get the error message that something was wrong, please refresh your email in box as you may be using an old link. This happened several times.

I’ve uninstalled and re-installed the app but am still getting the same issue.
