Hsbc bank set up

Doing a bank transfer does not seem to work for me I have tried about a dozen times I can do direct debit which takes about a week.

I get 30 seconds from getting my transaction code to write it down then back into the app put it in with other details but never seem to work for me. I don’t know if it the time limit or what.

Can I use that long reference code to send the money to my plum account and does it change every time as might be able to set it up on my computer rather than my phone?
