ISA transfer counted against yearly allowance

Hello, I’m new here so I hope this is the right place to ask this question.

This tax year I contributed X amount to my Stock & Shares ISA, and I also transferred Y amount from another ISA provider (cash ISA). I used the transfer form provided by Plum and they carried out the transfer from my other provider – I didn’t manually move the monies over.

Now I just noticed the app shows my allowance for the year exactly as £X+Y out of £20,000, when surely it should be just £X? Or am I missing something?

Hi Stefano

Could you drop me a DM mentioning your email linked to Plum so I investigate your case please?

Best,
Georgios

Hi Georgios, this was actually just resolved via Help in app. All good. Thank you for replying though. It was quite worrying to be honest as it was a rather large chunk of money! Hopefully this doesn’t happen again in the future.

Hi Stefano,

Yes, this is absolutely frustrating. If there is any other issue, please let us know.

Have a nice day
